Norman L. Webb
Norman L. Webb is a senior research
scientist with the Wisconsin Center
for Education Research and is
the principal investigator of the Adding Value
Project. in addition
to attending to the overall operations of the project, he
oversees
the work related to developing and applying the alignment tool and
providing related technical assistance. Webb has served as the
principal
investigator for 15 projects. He is co-director of the
Center for the Study of
Systemic Reform in Milwaukee Public Schools
funded by the Joyce
Foundation and the Study of the Impact of State
Systemic Initiatives funded
by NSF. He directed a project funded by
the NSF to develop models for
analyzing assessment data to evaluate
systemic reform in states and large
districts.

Robert Meyer
Robert Meyer is a senior research
scientist with the Wisconsin Center
for Education Research and is
working with the project team to design
the value-added analyses.
Meyer is nationally known for his work in
developing value-added
analytic procedures. On the Milwaukee Public
Schools project, he
has been instrumental in analyzing the data and
producing results
for comparing the effectiveness of schools within the
district.
Meyer has applied a new procedure for comparing the
effectiveness
of schools within the district. This procedure has been
used to
correct for measurement error in prior achievement. |

| Paula A. White
Paula A. White is a research scientist at the
Wisconsin Center for
Education Research. She oversees the
technical assistance meetings for
the project and with the other
project staff, conducts site visits to gather
information on
evaluation plans and efforts. White served as the project
manager
for the National Institute for Science Education and has
extensive
experience in performing case studies. She is a lead
researcher
on the NSF GK-12 Graduate Fellows Program evaluation. |
